Performs repairs and maintenance on slot machines. Assists in jackpot payouts.
The Slot Technician includes the following with other duties as assigned by the Slot Manager and/or Floor Supervisor. Performs duties in compliance with the company standards, performs routine maintenance and service checks on all slot machines. Inspects machines as a result of short pays or improper jackpot payoffs. Verifies jackpots and escorts if needed. Maintains proper records pertaining to the activities of all slot machines Programs progressive and sets up Slot Tournament machines. Perfgorms Diagnostics and repairs faulty mechanical components. Fill and does repairs on the Kiosk machines. May at time be required to do training. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML.
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key Gaming License. Must have 20/20 corrected vision. Must have proficient computer knowledge.
High school graduate or GED.
Six months Slot Technician experience or related electrical experience preferred.
Must be able to physically withstand continued walking, standing, bending, reaching, and heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
Guests 18 years of age and older are welcome. Persons under the age of 18 will not be permitted on the property. This includes the Lodge and Bay Store. Guests under 18 are welcome at the cabins and campground. Guests must be 21 years of age to gamble. Thank you for your understanding.
