The Access Guard welcomes employees and visitors and determines the nature of their business and announces them to appropriate personnel in a timely manner. He/she monitors visitor access and issues passes when required. The Access Guard issues and receives employees’ badges, maintains all logs and produces appropriate documents, and maintains paperwork in security areas. The Access Guard completes paperwork assignments issued by other department directors and supervisors and checks articles from deliveries that come into and exit the casino. He/she must be able to work rotating days off and perform other duties as assigned by the Security Director.
Answers phone calls, welcomes employees and guests and handles issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision.
High school graduate or GED.
Three months experience in a related field or casino environment preferred. Must be able to administer professional communication skills with guests and employees and ensure confidentiality. Must have knowledge of computer programs for office-related duties.
Must be physically able to withstand continued sitting for periods of 8 hours or more and periodically lift 50 pounds.
