The Mobridge area boasts excellent hunting. Many national hunting guides agree that the growing number of birds in the SD area combined with easy terrain and pleasant weather makes for outstanding pheasant hunting. In addition, you’ll find a large number of other game, including sharp-tailed grouse, Canada geese and a variety of duck. You can also hunt for white-tailed deer, mule deer, coyotes and prairie dogs.

Lake Oahe is the largest of the Great Lakes reservoirs and offers some of the best fishing in the region. Fish for walleye, northern pike, Chinook Salmon, channel catfish, bass and rainbow trout. The lake is also perfect for all types of water sports including skiing, tubing and riding personal watercraft.
