POSITION: Cage Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Gaming Manager

SUMMARY:
Oversees all activities within the Cage department & responsible for Title 31 training, reporting and recordkeeping.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Cage Supervisor is responsible for counting and verifying all currency and coin in impress bank at the beginning and end of each shift. He/she is responsible for all shortages/overages, safety of the bank & bank personnel, supervision of all cage personnel including but not limited to departmental schedules, attendance, selection of applicants, and evaluations & disciplinaries of cage staff. The Cage Supervisor is responsible for all Title 31 training, recordkeeping and reporting of Title 31 related activities to the appropriate agencies. He/she ensures cage staff upholds Grand River Casino’s customer service standards. Any other duties as assigned by the Gaming Manager. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.

PREREQUISITES

General:
Must be 21 years of age. Must obtain a Standing Rock Tribal “Key” license.

Education:
High school graduate or GED.

Experience:
Two years of cashier experience. Six month supervisory experience preferred. Experience working in a casino environment preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency required in the operation of personal computer, using word processing software (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel) and email software (Microsoft Outlook). Must be able to work various automated machines and computer programs.

Physical:
Requires repetitive hand/fingering motions, sitting and standing for long periods, bending, reaching, normal (or corrected to normal) hearing and visual acuity, verbal skills. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.
