POSITION TITLE: Gold Club Supervisor/Banquet Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Marketing Director
To provide customer service and ensure guest satisfaction while performing all required duties and responsibilities of the job. Promotes the banquet facilities, supervises all Gold Club functions and carries out all casino promotions, while projecting a positive image of the business to guests and clients.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Gold Club Supervisor/Banquet Coordinator consults with clients to plan events and meetings. Details include but are not limited to persons expected, space needed, room set up, food and beverage service, audio/visual needs and maintain financial information for billing purposes. He/she is required complete Banquet Event Orders, obtain purchase orders for the event, notify all applicable departments of event and enter all billing information in the Night Vision system. He/she will help prepare banquet rooms and assist the Food and Beverage department as needed as well as setting up the Ronin signs. He/she is required to ensure that all needs and requests of the engager are met (including set up), before, at the beginning of, during and after the event. The Gold Club Supervisor/Banquet Coordinator will be responsible for conducting all casino promotions, carry out promotional announcements and keep accurate record of said promotions. The Gold Club Supervisor/Banquet Coordinator will perform all duties of the Gold Club, accurately operate and maintain all aspects of the Super Playmate system and establish and maintain a professional image of the Gold Club. He/she will be required to train incoming and existing employees on customer service and all aspects of the Gold Club. He/she will supervise all Gold Club staff members. This includes but is not limited to training, scheduling, covering shifts, completing performance evaluations, hiring, and administering disciplinary actions. The Gold Club Supervisor/Banquet Coordinator will also be responsible for enforcing the policies and procedures of the Gold Club, Grand River Casino and SRST Gaming Commission. Other duties as assigned. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
Must be 21 years of age or older, qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Key license have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind.
Applicant must be a high school graduate or have completed a GED program.
Two years experience in customer service with one year experience in a supervisory position as well as a working knowledge of computers preferred.
Applicant must be physically able to withstand continued sitting for up to 8 hour as well as perform light lifting.
