POSITION TITLE: Lead Food and Beverage
REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Director/Supervisor

Starting Wage: $13.50
SUMMARY:
To provide customer service and ensure guest satisfaction while performing all required duties of the job. To aid in the training of all Food and Beverage staff, maintain food standards and ensure cleanliness of all areas of the restaurant and bar. To also work with your fellow GRC employee’s together as a team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Lead Food and Beverage will assist in the training of all Food and Beverage staff. He/she will assist in training, cross-training and help motivate staff. The Lead Food and Beverage will also assist in administering training techniques in customer service and monitor its usage and does any other duties assigned by the Food and Beverage Director/Supervisor. Employee shall comply with all BSA/AML regulations, reporting, and training requirements – Specifically those in the Grand River Casino Written System of Internal Controls (and appendices) for BSA/AML Compliance.
PREREQUISITES:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Must qualify for a Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Non-gaming license. Must have 20/20 corrected vision and not be color blind. Must have the ability to pass TIPS training, South Dakota Serve Safe Course, and to obtain a food handler’s card. Must have great customer service skills.
EXPERIENCE:
One-year experience in the restaurant field preferred. 3 months of cash register experience preferred. Agylisis experience a plus. Must possess knowledge of basic office computer programs, such as Microsoft® Word; Microsoft® Excel and Microsoft® Outlook Express.
PHYSICAL:
Must be physically able to withstand continued walking and standing for periods of 8 hours or more and be able to withstand bending, reaching, grasping and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
